Team practice from common input:
Teacher gives the topic/material traditionally. All group members work on the same topic or material. Aim
is to make sure that every member masters the topic. When teacher asks a question anyone in the group
can answer.
Three Step Interview
Students work in pairs. One is interviewer and the other is interviewee. Students reverse roles.
Then each shares with team member what was learned during the interviews.
Group Projects/Group Work
Students will create a play on how to have a good health. Each person in their group needs to have a role. Students will present it in class.
Group/Partner Reading
Students will read a story with their partner. After reading, they will retell what they read about and write
2-3 questions about the story they read. When they are finish, questions will be ask among their
teammates.
SFA Team Huddle and Team Mastery
- Team Huddle-gives students time to test out what they think they know within the safety of the
partnership and team. It is the partner and the team’s responsibility to ensure that
everyone in the team understands what has been taught.
- Team Mastery-team members solve problems independently. They then check with their team mates
to see if they have the same answer and explain their thinking to each other.

a partner. Student will share their partner’s response with the group or class.
